Mahogany, Quilted Maple, Slate, Pao Shell

This piece, built exclusively for Executive Director, Ann Lancaster, was presented to the Craft Center as part of their grand opening ceremony in 2001. The heavily quilted Maple top is supported by four pillar-like legs. Each was painstakingly veneered with hand shaped slate and topped with a framed Pao Shell detail. A hidden drawer reveals a drop down keyboard and pencil / storage area.
